    Foreign Language Assistant (French)


    Term-Time Only (Including Inset Days) 13 hours flexible over 3 day timetable (8.35am - 3.05pm) Salary Grade 6 SCP 6 Pro Rata £7,897.23 actual salary (FTE: £25,989)


    We have an exciting opportunity for a French Foreign Language Assistant to join our MFL Department.

    You will be responsible for supporting the teaching team to ensure that the students are exposed to a high quality of spoken and written language to support their language learning and exam preparations.

    The ability to speak fluent French is essential. Good written and oral communication skills are a must, as is the ability to prioritise and plan your own workload in the context of conflicting priorities and to work on your own initiative. Previous experience of working with children would be an advantage.

    The successful candidate would be willing to positively contribute to the life and energy of our school community

    The pro rata salary shown is based on the number of hours and weeks worked and paid annual leave entitlement for an employee under 5 years’ service.

    This role is UK based and your Right to Work will need to be established as part of the appointment process.
