We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual, with a passion to promote young peoples’ mental health and wellbeing, to provide both one-to-one and small group interventions with students experiencing emerging or lower-level emotional health difficulties. The successful candidate will demonstrate an empathy for young people combined with the knowledge and skills to provide them with effective support including self-regulation strategies and positive self-talk.
Applicants should already possess an ELSA/ counsellor qualification. The position will suit someone with prior or current success working with young people in a professional, employed or voluntary capacity.
The successful candidate would be willing to positively contribute to the life and energy of our school community.
The pro rata salary shown is based on the number of hours and weeks worked and paid annual leave entitlement for an employee under 5 years services. This role is UK based and your Right to Work will need to be established as part of the appointment process.
