One of our A Level Drama and Theatre Studies alumni, Benjamin Cain, has been into school to visit the Year 7 Drama Production Club and share some exciting news. With not one, but three offers from prestigious drama schools, Ben has chosen to study for his Professional Acting BA (Hons) degree at Bristol Old Vic, treading in the footsteps of prestigious alumni including Sir Patrick Stewart, Sir Daniel Day-Lewis, Olivia Colman CBE, Naomi Harris OBE, Stephanie Cole OBE and Helen Baxendale to name but a few.

During his visit, Ben watched the Year 7 production rehearsal with some of the cast and then shared some pointers for their forthcoming production of ‘Happily Never After’.While at Highcliffe, Ben starred in two whole school productions: as the villainous dentist in ‘The Little Shop of Horrors’ and Reuben in ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’.
