We are proud to have been awarded AcSEED Accreditation in recognition of our mental health support in school!

The AcSEED review team were particularly impressed with:

1. Comprehensive Mental Health and Wellbeing policy.

2. Mindfulness group

3. Dedicated days/week to acknowledge and inform about different wellbeing topics.

4. PSHCE Curriculum.

5. Carousel of self-help & wellbeing literature available in library.

6. Dedicated table for anxious students in canteen.

7. Mental Health Focus Group (Now the Student Leadership Team for Health and Wellbeing)

8. Introduction to Mental Health evening for parents.

9. Mental Health Support Worker role

10. Jubilee Building supporting students with school-based anxiety.

11. Students have access to many different counselling services and health professionals.

12. Peer Mentor Scheme.

13. Lanyards identifying Peer Mentors.

14. Young Carers breakfast club.

15. Fortnightly check-in with looked after children.

16. Introduction to mental health training for TAs to support & mentor students with anxiety.
