On the 12th of January I had the pleasure of attending Forest Arts Centre's Music Industry Day. Myself and some other students from my Year 10 GCSE music class spent the afternoon being taught about a few of the many careers in the music industry. We were introduced to a wide range of careers including event organisation, live performance, venue management, music production & music management. Everyone speaking on the day was very friendly and accommodating. They explained what they do for a living and answered our questions in great detail at the Q&A afterwards. Their experiences and careers have really inspired me as a GCSE student, and I feel this opportunity will aid in my studies. Thank you Forest Arts Centre, I am very grateful! - Phoebe in Year 10
