As required by the Admissions Code, the Governing Body of Highcliffe School is conducting a consultation on its proposed Admission Arrangements for Intake 2021/22. The consultation period runs from Monday 23rd December 2019 to Friday 31st January 2020.

Please note there are no substantial changes to the policy, we are consulting in accordance with arrangements as set out in the December 2014 Admissions Code.

Consultation Statement:

The school is consulting on its intention to undertake a measured and proportionate increase of its PAN from the current 240 for 2020 to 264 for Year 7 admissions from 2021. All other 2021 admissions criteria will remain unchanged.  This responds to the higher pupil numbers at our main primary feeder, Highcliffe St Mark Primary School, currently progressing through our community, and the continuing upward trend in applications from other feeder schools or from families in catchment, or families with siblings already on roll at the school, and other applications.  The Governors are committed to ensure that Highcliffe School continues to serve its local catchment, feeder and family sibling community by seeking to maintain, from 2021, a PAN which enables students who wish to be educated at Highcliffe School to have a reasonable prospect of admission within the limits of our staffing, buildings and resources.
