The evening began with a presentation from Miss Whiteside covering key information about the universities of Oxford and Cambridge, including navigating the rigorous application process, potential ‘supercurricular’ activities that go far beyond the normal curriculum and the support and opportunities offered by Highcliffe Sixth. 

 Mr O’ Connor followed with information about the Medical and Allied professions application process explaining what is needed to get into top Universities, how you can use our enrichment programme and support to help you with the process, he also shared student success stories from the class of 2019. 

 There was then the opportunity for a Q&A session with our current Year 13 Oxbridge and Medic applicants. The Year 13 students shared their own individual stories and experiences with questions from the audience about their course choices, the universities they have applied to, the application process, and the opportunities, experiences and support they have received from Highcliffe Sixth. 

 The evening finished with the opportunity for breakout discussions with relevant members of staff and Year 13 students.
